Susan Sarnoff Mender

I am now living in Connecticut in a charming beach town on LI sound. It was a dream of mine after living in Manhattan for 10 years and Los Angeles for 15 years. I am retired after 25 years in the Market Research Business. I am now a partner in the company I started in Los Angeles without the day-to-day management of that company. Still very close to my twin sister Linda – we finally started looking alike – who now lives in Portland, Oregon and has 2 married children and 3 grandchildren.

I have two wonderful married daughters and 4 grandchildren that are getting bigger than me. They all live nearby which is great after being across the country for so many years.

I love retirement: gardening, volunteer work, Pilates book lectures. I spend a lot of time visiting family. Time seems to go just as fast retired as it did with a hectic work schedule.

It's like a time warp remembering high school years. I have the fondest memories of high school and the friends and closeness of the community. My children graduated from Great Neck High and that was a memory jolt in itself.
