Rosette Arons

Where Am I?

In good places. Living on Central Park West, East Hampton, Venice, California.

What Am I Doing?

I feel lucky to be in the best profession to grow old in. For the past 20 years, I've been selling residential real estate in Manhattan. I now find myself selling properties to people who realize this is great city to retire to. I serve on a number of boards and committees… have always wanted to be involved in the communities I live in. Subscribe to the Metropolitan Opera, Philharmonic, museums and generally enjoy what NYC has to offer.

What About My Family?

My son, a photographer, and daughter, a writer, both live in Venice, California… great place to visit frequently if one wants to escape some New York winter weather. I have family in Paris, France, where I was born, and sometimes fly in the other direction for the same 6 hours and a totally different experience.

What Else Keeps Me Occupied?

As always, I have a lot of energy. After 50 years, I found a great stroke for me, I swim laps whenever and wherever I can. Design and the arts have always been important. I paint landscapes-for my own pleasure. Like to entertain at home and garden… regular stuff…

My Message to the Class of 157:

Like wine… gets better and better! 68 is the new 50!
