· Provide consulting services to software vendors, system integrators and end-users, including documentation, system design, project management, support, training, particularly in the securities industry.
· System Architect, Acting Chief Technology Officer, Acting Chief Operating Office for e-commerce startup company, including requirements analysis and responsibility for design and implementation of production systems, choice of hardware and software vendors, hiring of personnel, general operations management, etc.
· Acted as Project Manager for a substantial portion of the integration of a near $1,000,000,000 annual revenue acquisition into a major market data distributor.
· Designed a GUI and system for creating Page Layouts for the presentation of market data and for the management of underlying fundamental market data. Wrote specifications, acted as Project Manager, ran test program, wrote user documentation and trained users.
· Designed a system for gathering fundamental data on North American securities, wrote specifications, acted as Project Manager for over two years, designed test program, tested system and wrote/published custom user manuals.
· Wrote and published full sets of manuals – from System Administration to User Interface – for Ticker Plant Systems, distributed architecture digital information delivery systems (securities industry) and accounting and inventory control applications (wholesale, retail and import).
· Designed and implemented custom "front ends" for more than one-half dozen Stratus-based Ticker Plants, wrote and published associated manuals and trained client personnel in use of the systems.
· Prepared a number of joint venture proposals for systems in the securities industry, including participation in design and cost estimating, coordination of hardware and software vendors, technical writing, editing, publication and presentation.
· Participated in the design of a migration plan for the systems upgrade of a major regional stock exchange.
· Designed, developed, marketed and supported a fully integrated vertical market package for wholesalers, importers and distributors, including accounting, inventory control, purchasing, sales analysis and EDI interface.

The Great Neck Arts Center is a not-for-profit organization [501(c)(3)] dedicated to promoting and supporting the arts in the community through education, performance, exhibition and outreach.
· Responsible for helping to plan, budget and manage all “non-artistic” functions except fund raising.
· Planned and executed complete replacement of all computer systems and network including requirements analysis, preparing RFP, selecting successful equipment bidders, installing hardware and software and preparing all documentation required to fulfill the requirements of New York State grant.
2001 - Present THE SLOBODKINA FOUNDATION, Glen Head, NY – Vice President, Member of Board of Directors
The Slobodkina Foundation is a not-for-profit organization [501(c)(3)] dedicated to preserving and promoting the works of the late artist, writer and illustrator, Esphyr Slobodkina Urquhart.
· Responsible for helping to plan, budget and manage all functions of the organization.

1964 – 1982 SCHILDKRAUT GIFTWARE CORP., New York, NY – General Manager; President
· Grew small, family-owned importer and wholesaler of women's gift items into major international giftware firm.
· Supervised over 100 employees in all facets of business, including accounting, engineering, manufacturing, importing, product development, sales and marketing.
· Negotiated international contracts; traveled extensively in Europe and the Orient.

· Performed analyses related to various projects, proposals and joint ventures with other aerospace contractors.
· Wrote, edited, coordinated and published proposals and other technical documents.
· Wrote computer programs in Assembler and FORTRAN related to both technical analyses and proposal work/cost estimating.
· Supervised up to 40 people as head of proposal "teams".
